Broiler flocks affected by enteric pathogens show a variety of problems, including stunting, increased medication costs and poor carcass quality. Additionally, breeders and commercial layers may experience drops in egg production.

Several agents are responsible for enteric disorders, such as viruses such as (Rotavirus, Reovirus, or Corona virus), bacteria (E. coli or Salmonella Spp) and parasites.
