Although the name suggests otherwise, ringworm does not involve worms. It is a fungal infection that can be contracted by dogs, although it is more commonly seen in cats, and people. Ringworm is zoonotic, meaning that your pet can pass the infection on to you, or members of your family through direct contact – or through infectious spores in the environment. Microsporum canis is one of three dermatophytes (parasitic fungi that cause skin infections) responsible for ringworm.
INDICATIONS:
CONOFITE Cream is indicated for the treatment of fungal infections in dogs and cats caused by Microsporum canis.
