Distemper Vaccine
Live Canarypox Vector
DV-Ferret

Distemper is a fatal viral disease the can infect ferrets, and other animals, including dogs, foxes, wolves, minks, weasels, skunks, badgers, and raccoons. Ferrets can contract the disease through exposure to the airborne virus, or through contact with an infected animal. The first clinical signs reveal themselves approximately 7 to 10 days after first contracting distemper. In virtually 100% of all cases, this painful disease results in death.
While there can be some variation in how distemper presents itself, the classic signs include discharge from the eyes, an elevated fever, loss of appetite, reduced energy, as well as redness and thickening of the skin on the chin and lips, hardening of the skin on the footpads, diarrhea, and seizures.

Chances are, your veterinarian will safeguard your pet with PUREVAX FERRET DISTEMPER. This innovative vaccine is approved specifically for use in ferrets, and does not contain chemical adjuvants that can result in adjuvant-related reactions.
